To grow acceleration and increase the potential of human resources in the hospitality industry, Liberta Hotel International (LHI) as a Hotel Operator and Management provides coaching and mentoring for the next generation through the Liberta Goes to Campus program supported by LSP Maestro Indonesia at Universities and Colleges of Tourism in Indonesia. As a Kick Off event, LHI held the first series of coaching and mentoring at the Faculty of Tourism, Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN).

Tourism Industry as one of the largest foreign exchange contributors in Indonesia. The Jakarta World Economic Forum released the Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI) 2021 which states that Indonesia occupies the 32nd position in the world or up 12 places from the previous year. This indicates that Indonesia has superior potential that can compete to advance tourism in Indonesia. The latest Economic Impact report from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) shows that the travel & tourism sector in Indonesia is expected to generate more than five million new jobs in the next decade.

Based on this data, Niken Prawesti as CEO of Liberta Hotel International (LHI) stated that it is necessary to develop the quality of human resources for prospective hospitality industry players. For this reason, LHI initiated the Liberta Goes to Campus program as one of the steps to increase its role and function as a Hotel Operator and Management. "We want to prove our commitment as a hospitality industry player by holding the Liberta Goes to Campus program to support the creation of professional and skilled individuals who are ready to work in the tourism industry. Because we want to be more useful for the community, especially for students who will later be directly involved in the hospitality industry," explained Niken.

This activity was also welcomed by Oqke Prawira, M.Sc.Par as the Head of the UMN Hospitality Study Program. "We are very grateful to Liberta Hotel International for taking the time to come to our campus. Hopefully, our study program can be more advanced so that it can also produce tourism people who can be absorbed by the industry linearly," said Oqke.

The Liberta Goes to Campus program is also part of the #IamLibertan activities initiated by LHI as a forum to answer the needs of the community, especially in this case to support the creation of quality human resources (HR). Because with the revival of the tourism industry, especially hospitality after the pandemic, accompanied by a shift in consumer behavior. So that the tourism industry is required to continue to innovate in order to survive in the new normal era. In addition to the innovation strategy carried out, it is necessary to improve the quality and quality of human resources which are the driving force for industrial sustainability.

In this event, LHI also provides opportunities for participants who want to directly enter the world of work in the Internship program that can be implemented in all properties managed by LHI. "We hope that this program can screen out potential hospitality industry players who are qualified and have the potential to improve the hospitality industry in the future.
